Rivers thought it would be nice to live in Beverly Hills and wrote a song about it. However, when Weezer recorded it, "Beverly Hills" came off as a bit sarcastic or even nihilistic.

Coldplay: Talk (2005)

Coldplay adapted Kraftwerk’s “Computer Love” for their own and created “Talk.” The band had worked and reworked the song before scrapping it for the Kraftwerk inspired motif. The video is a nod to old fashioned sci-fi movies complete with a giant robot.

Garbage scored their first hit in 6 years with "Why Do You Love Me?" The song harkened back to the glory days of Grunge and sounded like their older work.
