Milky Chance: Stolen Dance (2015)

German Band Milky Chance released their first album with "Stolen Dance" on it in 2013. The song finally made its way to America and broke in 2015. The upbeat song is accompanied by a video in which the singer appears rather bored.

Weird Al Yankovic: Word Crimes (2014)

This is Weird Al's best work. "Word Crimes" is a parody of grammatical miscues put to Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines." The song reached #39 on the charts. Weird Al became the third artist to have Top 40 hits in every decade since the 1980s. The other two: Michael Jackson and Madonna.

Go Away by Weezer (2014)

Weezer returned to its roots with Everything Will Be Alright in the End. The album is a straight on alt rocker. "Go Away" recounts a failed relationship and features Bethany Cosentino from Best Coast on vocals.

Louder than Words by Pink Floyd (2014)

A tribute to Richard Wright using some material from the Division Bell sessions. The bulk of the album lacks lead vocals. David Gilmour said the new work is not for the download generation. Instead, it is a steady stream of music.

Foil by Weird Al Yankovic (2014)

Weird Al demonstrates why he is the best at music parody. He has outlasted most of the acts he has mocked over the years. Here, Al gives his take on "Royal" by Lourde. It begins as an ode to aluminum foil and then jumps into paranoid conspiracies.

The Black Keys: Fever (2014)

The Black Keys followed up their mega success with this tune. They hoped to capture the Motown vibe with "Fever." In the video, Dan Auerbach plays a creepy televangelist. Patrick Carney plays his Ed McMahon.

Pete Townshend: It Must Be Done (2014)

The Americans tv series is about two KGB operatives living in 1980s Virginia. It deals with the interpersonal relationships of the agents with an occasional real life event tossed in. Pete Townshend offered this song for the series in 2014. The work captures the feel of the Cold War.
