They split in 1974. Steve Winwood embarked on a successful solo career. The surviving members reunited in 1994 for a tour and then disbanded.

Jimi Hendrix: Crosstown Traffic (1968)

Jimi can't get rid of this girl. She doesn't understand and getting through to her is liking driving through crosstown traffic. The song is filled with innuendo....if you pay attention. It is one of the few tunes to include a kazoo. Hendrix transforms a comb and cellophane into an instrument ala Snoopy. How many songs use a kazoo? Dave Mason from Traffic supplies backing vocals.
