Katy Perry’s success is not based on talent. Let’s face it, she can’t
sing a lick. “Roar” is cheesy, formulaic, and cliché. It is somewhat similar to
“Firework” which features some of the worst singing in pop music history. In
the end, “Roar” wins the award for worst song of 2013. In a world of “Blurred
Lines” and Miley Cyrus, this says a lot.
