Little Anthony and the Imperials: Rock n Roll Hall of Fame Class of 2009

The Chesters formed in 1957 and Anthony Gourdine joined shortly thereafter. Gourdine became the lead vocalist and the band changed their name to Little Anthony and the Imperials. The New Yorkers were a doo wop/soul group that featured Little Anthony's falsetto.
